Simple idea

Drop & Bloom is a really effective way to plant spring flowering bulbs, using ready-spaced biodegradable trays that already contain the bulbs. It’s ideal if you struggle to plant bulbs physically or creatively and sets your bulbs up for healthy growth. You simply dig a hole, drop the tray into the hole, cover it over and watch it grow. The kits can be used in large pots and containers or planted into the border to create a beautiful spring display with minimal effort.

There are four round trays that are perfect for large planters and two large window box trays. Each one has a different choice of bulbs in a range of colour themes, from pretty pastels to fiery sunshine colours.

How to use

These very special bulb trays have been carefully designed to take all the hard work out of planting spring flowering bulbs. Perfect if you are short on time or new to gardening, but are seeking a cheerful spring display. The pack contains a ready-to-plant biodegradable plant tray that is already filled with plump, healthy bulbs at exactly the right spacing and arranged to create a beautiful display. There’s no planning, spacing or handling required. You either fill your planter with two thirds compost and place the tray on the top, covering it over with more compost or soil and water well. Or dig a hole a little bigger than the tray and about twice its depth, drop the bulb tray into place, cover over with more soil, water gently and then sit back and wait.
