HOTBIN compost bin capable of producing compost in just 30-90 days has now launched the new HOTBIN Mk.2, the second generation HOTBIN compost bin.
HOTBIN compost bin reduces the amount of waste sent to landfill by composting a wider variety of waste, all without the traditional composting problems of odours, flies, turning and tumbling. Utilising hot composting methods HOTBIN is an aerobic compost bin that produces compost up to 32 times faster than traditional cold composting methods.
Along with the HOTBIN you’ll also receive a 25 litre bag of Bulking Agent, extra thermometer to track the HOTBIN’s internal temperature, a ‘Kick Start Heater’ (to keep HOTBIN working in winter) and a raking stick.

With unique insulation properties, HOTBIN reaches temperatures of 40-60°C, composting a wider variety of waste that would ordinarily be possible with a wormery or cold composting. Fruit, vegetable peelings, grass cuttings, leaves, cooked food, meat and even bones can all go in whilst the high temperatures in the HOTBIN kill off weed seeds, pathogens and fly larvae. In addition to the HOTBIN being a sealed unit, odours commonly associated with composting are controlled with a built-in bio-filter in the HOTBIN lid reducing odours associated with the attraction of flies and vermin. 115cm high x 55cm x 55cm. No matter how many items you purchase, we offer a single standard shipping charge of just £4.99 per order.
Due to the extra weight, orders weighing over 30kg will be charged at £9.99, and very heavy orders, weighing over 60kg, will incur a £19.99 delivery charge.
HOTBIN is delivered to you directly from the manufacturer. Once your HOTBIN has been dispatched we’ll send you’ll an email notification including a tracking number.
After we have processed your order, delivery typically takes between 3 – 10 working days.
Please note this may be longer during busy periods.
Delivery tracking numbers will be supplied by email.
We are only able to deliver HOTBIN to UK mainland addresses only.
Returns/Damages/Refunds
Change of Mind Policy
We must be informed within 14 days of receipt of the order.
- The item must be returned in its original packaging and unused.
- HOTBIN Mk.2 return cost: £50.00 will be deducted from your refund to cover the original delivery cost and the collection cost.
- HOTBIN Mini return cost: £40.00 will be deducted to cover the delivery and collection cost.
- HOTBIN Plinth return cost: £18 will be deducted to cover the delivery and collection cost.
- You can arrange your own return, but please be aware that most couriers charge upwards of £30 / £50 depending on the HOTBIN model or will refuse to collect due to the size. To obtain your own collection quote please check that the courier will collect a package weighing a maximum of 22kg and measuring 60 x 70 x 120cm (HOTBIN Mk.2).
Damaged Goods Returns Policy
These will be dealt with on an individual basis, please provide the following information.
- Wherever possible ensure the customer signs for the item as damaged.
- Send notification within 48 hours of delivery to [email protected]
- Description of the damage and how it occurred.
- Photograph of the damage.
