Green “pea soup” water is the scourge of ponds and other garden water features. It is caused by a build-up of excess algal growth, which is often due to the build-up of nutrients in the water. This also leads to excessive blanket weed growth. Both can really spoil your pleasure of your water feature experience.
Natural Clear Pond is the easy, natural way to stopping green water and producing crystal clear water in ponds and other outdoor water features.
This fast-acting natural product cleans green water, helps control blanket weed and reduces unpleasant “pondy” smells within two to four weeks of treatment. The powder contains freeze-dried safe and naturally-occurring bacteria, which actively remove the nutrients that encourage algae and blanket weed growth.
It is safe for fish, pets, plants and wildlife.
For best results, use once a month from March to October. If possible, start using before algae or blanket weed start to appear. Simply throw the water soluble sachet into the centre of the pond or where the blanket weed is growing.
The 200g sachet treats up to 50,000-litres (11,000 gallons) of water.
For smaller ponds and water features, you can open the sachet and, using a measuring scoop or similar, weight out the necessary amount; 40g will treat 10,000-litres, for instance. Wear gloves and ensure the unused product is kept dry, in a labelled, clean, airtight container and placed in a cool, dry place. Don’t re-use the container for other gardening products or food.
