Nepeta ‘Six Hills Giant’ is a tall, vigorous, hardy perennials and much-loved catmint that delivers months of colour with very little effort. From late spring through summer, clouds of soft flowers appear above aromatic, grey-green foliage, creating a relaxed and informal look in borders. Bees and pollinators flock to the flowers, making it one of the most valuable plants for wildlife-friendly gardens.
Thriving in full sun and well-drained soil, it is drought tolerant once established and copes well with hot, dry conditions. Cutting back after the first flush encourages fresh growth and a second wave of flowers later in the season. Easy-going, reliable and endlessly useful, ‘Six Hills Giant’ is a true garden workhorse, it’s no wonder it won the RHS Award of Garden Merit!
