Lavandula stoechas ‘Purple Panache’ is a striking and highly ornamental French lavender, bringing real Mediterranean character to borders, containers and sunny patios. It produces rich, deep purple flower heads topped with distinctive upright bracts, often described as “ears”, which hold their colour well and give the plant its unmistakable architectural look. Flowering throughout the summer, it brings both colour, scent and plenty of pollinators to the garden.
Its neat, bushy habit makes it ideal for edging paths, planting in borders or growing in containers where its fragrance can be enjoyed up close. Easy to grow in full sun and well-drained soil, it is drought tolerant once established and makes a reliable, low-maintenance addition to the garden.
