Lavandula angustifolia ‘Little Lady’ (also known as ‘Batlad’) is a beautifully compact English lavender, perfect for smaller gardens, containers and neat, structured planting schemes. It forms a dense, rounded mound of aromatic, silver-grey evergreen foliage that brings year-round structure and fragrance to the garden.

From early to mid-summer it produces an abundance of slender flower spikes in soft lilac-blue tones, held just above the foliage to create a clean, elegant display. The flowers are richly scented and highly attractive to bees and other pollinators, making it as valuable for wildlife as it is for style.

Exceptionally hardy and reliable, it thrives in full sun and sharply drained soil, performing best in poorer, drier conditions where its compact form stays tight and tidy. Recognised with the RHS Award of Garden Merit, it is a proven performer that delivers consistent colour, fragrance and structure with very little maintenance.
