Heuchera ‘Huckleberry’ is a beautifully distinctive foliage perennial from the Indian Summer Series, valued for its ever-changing, multi-tonal leaves that bring depth and colour to the garden all year round. The large, lobed foliage blends silvery-burgundy tones with rich green veining and deep purple undersides, shifting subtly with the light and the seasons to create a constantly evolving display.
In summer, slender stems rise above the foliage carrying delicate clusters of pale pink buds that open into small white flowers, lightly held above the plant. These are rich in nectar and attract bees and other pollinators, adding gentle movement and seasonal interest.
It is neat, bushy and mound-forming, making it ideal for borders, woodland planting schemes, rock gardens and containers. It thrives best in partial or dappled shade in moist, well-drained soil, and once established is both hardy and low maintenance, returning reliably year after year with minimal attention.
