Alstroemeria ‘Inticancha Maya’ is a wonderfully compact Peruvian lily, producing elegant white flowers with striking coral-pink throats that really lift the display. Despite its refined appearance, it is a tough and reliable performer, flowering generously from early summer right through to the first frosts.
Its neat, clump-forming habit makes it particularly well suited to containers, patios and the front of sunny borders, where the flowers can be enjoyed up close. The blooms are long-lasting both on the plant and in a vase, making it an excellent choice for cutting.
Thriving in a sunny or lightly shaded position with well-drained soil, it is easy to grow and low maintenance. Hardy to around -5°C, it may benefit from a little winter protection such as a mulch in colder areas, but rewards you with increasing performance year after year once established.
