RHS Award of Garden Merit winner, Chilli Pepper ‘Apache’ is a compact, productive variety producing abundant bright red, spicy fruits around 4–7cm long. It produces a heavy crop of cone-shaped peppers that turn from green to bright red, boasting a fiery, medium-to-hot heat of roughly 65,000–80,000 Scoville Heat Units.
Its neat, bushy habit makes it ideal for containers, patios or sunny borders, where it thrives in warm, sheltered conditions. Easy to grow and maintain, it responds well to regular watering and feeding.
Both ornamental and practical, this variety is perfect for gardeners who enjoy growing their own chillies with plenty of flavour and heat.
