Peanuts are a valuable source of protein, fibre and fat, and are especially important in winter, but are a perfect food source all year round. These high-energy favourites are considered to be one of the most versatile of wild bird foods, and are especially much loved by smaller birds, including blue tits, great tits, nuthatches and woodpeckers.
Combine these peanuts with my other bird food products to provide a nutritious feast for your garden visitors, which is sure to attract a wide range of birds to your garden.
All our peanuts are tested for the aflatoxin fungus and comply with UK and EU legislation. Poor quality peanuts can carry the aflatoxin fungus, which kills birds if they eat them.
Always feed nuts from a rigid wire mesh feeder, as large pieces can choke baby birds and fledglings.
Available in a 5kg (11lb) bag. After opening, they are best stored in a sealed container and kept in a cool, dry place.
