Product Description
- Stainless steel tines
- Long ash shaft
- Comfortable Y-grip handle
- Smaller and lighter than a digging fork
- Rolled tines for outstanding strength
Everyone needs a good quality fork in the garden – and our RHS-endorsed Border Fork is certainly one of the best. It is slightly smaller than our Digging Fork, making it ideal for working in confined spaces, and for gardeners who prefer to work with a shorter, lighter-weight tool.
The long stainless steel tines ensure they slide easily through the soil, are rust resistant and remain clean when moved through the soil. The tines are rolled for outstanding strength and resistance to bending. The hardwood shaft and handle are made from FSC-certified ash wood, renowned as the best wood for garden tools. The shaft is longer than most garden forks to reduce stooping and so save your back from strains and pains and the comfortable Y-grip handle is double riveted at the base for strength. An extra-long, double-riveted strapped socket provides strength and an element of flex at this key joint. The Border Fork has been tested to a breaking strain of 90kg – far beyond the British Standard of 55kg.
