To have a great looking lawn, you need a good lawnmower and this is a superb model. This Greenworks 35cm Li-Ion Battery Lawnmower is a superb rotary lawnmower, powered by a powerful 40 Volt lithium-ion battery, and is a great choice for all small to medium size lawns.
Its 35cm (14in) cutting width, making it perfect for lawns up to 250sq m (300sq yd). It has five cutting heights, from 2-8cm, which are easy to select. It has a 2-in-1 cutting function and can be used to leave the cuttings in place as a mulch, or collected in the 40-litre collection bag.
It’s supplied with two 2Ah batteries, which have a run time up to 27 minutes from a full charge, so one can be charging while you’re using the other and charger.
There is a top handle for easy carrying and storage, the handles fold down for easier storage and there is a security start key.
Rechargeable battery-powered lawnmowers offer numerous advantages. Like mains electric, they’re light and easy to manoeuvre, but you don’t have the drawback of the trailing electric cable. Their motors don’t need any maintenance nor produce any emissions.
Amp hour (Ah) is analogous to the size of a car’s fuel tank; the larger the amp hours, the longer the battery will last between charges, and can tackle larger lawns before becoming flat. For instance, a 2.5Ah battery should cut up to 400sq m (480sq yd) on a single charge.
