Why we chose it: RHS AGM winner
- Perfect for the UK climate
- Well-filled pods
- Matures early in the season
- Each packet contains approx. 350 seeds
Bred in Britain, pea Early Onward is a very popular variety, grown by gardeners everywhere. It will deliver a great crop whatever the weather throws at it. Forming knee-high, bushy plants that don’t need a lot of support, it produces heavy yields of blunt-ended pods. These are packed with sweet, tasty peas from late spring (from an early sowing) until autumn. Grow lots, because even if you manage to not eat them all immediately, they’re perfect for freezing! Sow from March to June to harvest from June to October.
