Why we chose it: RHS AGM winner
- Sweet, 30cm (12in) tall pointed heads
- Fast growing
- Harvest in summer and autumn
- Each packet contains approx. 500 seeds
Some plants don’t live up to their name, but cabbage Greyhound is out of the traps like a flash from a mid-winter to early spring sowing. It produces compact and firm, pointed heads for cutting in summer and autumn. The tender heads are sweet and succulent, and there are very few outer leaves that need throwing away when preparing it in the kitchen. Plants are also neat and compact and take up little room in the veg patch. Sow from January to March to harvest in summer and autumn.
