Potentilla Bella Sol produces masses of orange and yellow flowers, which look like the colours of sunny, summer sunsets. These resemble small wild roses and are produced for months on end from late spring all the way through to mid-autumn, above compact mounds of green leaves. This pretty, deciduous shrub, a variety of shrubby cinquefoil, is an ideal long-flowering plant for beds, borders or containers in sun or partial shade. Or use it to make a lovely, flowering low hedge. This improved variety is particularly suited to cold regions. It is an RHS Plants For Pollinators choice, and attracts butterflies and bees.
