Product Description

A truly stunning foxglove, Digitalis x mertonensis has towering spires of blooms in a delightful shade of crushed strawberry-pink, delicately speckled with a contrasting mulberry-purple throat. It’s considered to have the largest flowers of all foxgloves.

A winner of the RHS Award of Garden Merit, this semi-evergreen clump forming perennial is very easy to grow, requires very little maintenance and flowers from May to July. Loved by bees and butterflies, it’s the perfect addition to a pretty cottage garden border, adding colour, height and beauty.

What is Nursery Fresh?

Most mail order companies buy their plants from nurseries, pack and transport them to their packing sheds and greenhouses, then eventually pack and send them to you. Our plants are packed on our nurseries and sent to you directly so they arrive quicker, fresher and healthier!

Plus, our Nursery Fresh plants are grown in larger sized pots, which means stronger plants with better root systems.

It’s the freshest way to buy plants!
