Marguerites, or argyranthemums to give them their proper name, have been popular summer bedding plants for decades. They are must-have summer bedding plants, producing masses of large, bright, daisy-like flowers all summer and autumn until the first severe frost.
Grandaisy Halo Pink is one of the very best, an all-time favourite, flowering for up to six months with the prettiest pink flowers boasting a deep pink halo around the orange-brown centre. It will fill your patio pots, containers, beds and borders with vibrant blooms on neat, compact plants that are great for centrepieces in your displays. These are set off by the pretty foliage. It looks wonderful on its own, or grow it with silver-leaved plants like helichrysum. Marguerites are drought resistant, tolerating summer heat as well as cooler weather. They also make great cut flowers, lasting up to a week.
