Roses are hungry plants, so they need a rose food that provides a diet of essential nutrients to ensure they produce strong growth that can support a profusion of flowers throughout summer – and beyond. They can also be prone to a few fungal diseases – rose blackspot, rose rust and rose powdery mildew – and need a boost to help them shrug off these disease attacks.
My Flower Power Premium Rose Tonic is the perfect liquid boost and pick-me-up that will help all your roses, and give them some essential and necessary additional nutrients. Combining both rose food and tonic to protect the plants from pests, it is based on a formula used by many professional rose growers to help them grow stronger, healthier roses with more flowers.

This professional formula contains potassium phosphite, which is rapidly absorbed for an instant tonic and health boost. I’ve also added seaweed extract, a bio-stimulant well known for its ability to strengthen growth, giving disease protection, and copper, which is the natural enemy of plant fungal diseases.
It is simple to use, just add 10ml to 1 litre of water and apply to the foliage as a fine mist spray, evenly covering all the leaves and stems. This 1 litre of spray is enough to cover 10sqm (12sq yd) of roses. Apply every fortnight from April to September.
Flower Power Premium Rose Tonic can also be applied directly to the soil or compost around your roses and watered in.
