You either love them or you hate them, but there’s no doubt that cats can be a real nuisance in the garden. They commonly scratch over areas of soil – especially those where you’ve sowed seeds or planted young plants – to create somewhere to use as their toilet.
Super Strength Cat Repellent contains a natural material (garlic extract) that masks the territorial markings left by cats. This prevents them from effectively ‘marking’ their territory, and cats therefore avoid the area in future. The long-lasting odour drives cats away without causing them any harm and is effective for use in gardens, terraces as well as places where birds are regularly found.
It uses food-grade garlic extract bound in clay-based mineral granules to provide an effective remedy against troublesome cats. Protection lasts for one to two weeks, depending on weather conditions.
Simply treat the area to be protected with approximately 5g (equivalent to about one heaped teaspoon) of granules per 2sq m (2sq yd), scattering them extensively over the area. The 500g shaker can is sufficient for approximately 200sq m (240sq yd).
Use in areas that cats frequently walk in, as well as close to bird nesting boxes and bird feeders. Treated areas will need retreatment after heavy rainfall and efficacy is reduced when temperatures are close to freezing. Because Super Strength Cat Repellent has a very strong odour, it is recommended for outdoor use only.
