These fabulous solar-powered Falmouth USB Solar Festoon Lights are an essential addition to any garden or outdoor space wherever you need easy, fuss-free bright lights. They provide mains brightness from a portable, solar-powered set of lights. They use state-of-the-art G40 LED bulbs, which last for 10 years or more and can easily be replaced if they finally give up. This warm white set of 25 bulbs are spaced 30cm apart along an 8m cable. There are two brightness modes, giving you the option to extend run times by sacrificing a small amount of brightness. Designed to charge year-round using solar power alone, they can also be fully charged in just a few hours by bringing the solar panel inside and charging it via USB. USB charging is perfect if you don’t have a great solar panel location or if you want to guarantee lighting for that the special occasion even if the weather has let you down.

Solar-powered lights have come a long way in recent years, mainly thanks to more efficient solar panels and much improved battery technology, able to store the energy from the sun. This means the rechargeable batteries charge more quickly and last for much longer. A well-positioned solar panel will even charge in typical UK winter conditions. These lights will provide light for up to 10 hours from a full charge of the batteries by the solar panel. They turn on automatically at night and turn off automatically at dawn, or use the on/off switch to turn them off whenever you want.
