- Perfect for birds and other garden wildlife
- Lovely garden feature
- Robust structure
- Made from recycled materials
- Resembles stone, but is lighter and tougher
The Shenstone Theatre Bird Bath and Drinker is the perfect garden addition for birds, bees and lots of other wildlife. Not only is it a brilliant addition for garden wildlife, but it’s also an ornamental feature in its own right. The theatre step design provides safe drinking not just for birds, but small animals, pollinators and other insects that like to sip from the shallow edges of pools.
The bath comes with a short base section that raises it around 10cm above ground level. It is embossed around the rim with the opening lines from the well-known verse from the W H Davies poem Leisure: “What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare.”
The Shenstone Theatre Bird Bath and Drinker is constructed from a composite material called Clayplas, which is made from recycled products – a mixture of recycled, second-life plastics and clay. It has many benefits, including that it looks like stone, but is lighter and tougher. The wording has a hand-finished rubbed paint effect to highlight the lettering, using water-based paint. There is also a hand-finished, paint effect on the steps to resemble aged stone. It measures 44.5cm in diameter, and is 13cm in height when used with the base section to raise if off the ground. It weighs 3.3kg. It has a 10-year structural guarantee, excluding accidental damage.
