The Ornamental Kingfisher is a delightful representation of one of our most iconic wild birds. He is hand-made from reclaimed metals, which are then painted to give the kingfisher its vibrant and distinctive colouring. This fun and joyful kingfisher is robust and perfect for sitting outside all year round in the garden. He is equally happy to sit in the conservatory or on a table or windowsill. Put him somewhere prominent where you can thoroughly enjoy him.

Our supplier tells us that the impact of this work has been genuinely life-changing for the artists in Zimbabwe, helping them to build their own homes and set real foundations for their families.

Due to the metal being recycled, there may be some sharp edges, which can cause harm if not treated with care.
In time, if it needs a fresh coat of varnish, we recommend a coating of varnish in autumn, so the coat is at its thickest throughout the winter.
