These are then painted with different shades of purples, blues and whites to get a realistic, life-like look to the flower. Place it among other plants in beds, borders or containers or as a stand-alone feature elsewhere in the garden.

Our supplier tells us that the impact of this work has been genuinely life-changing for the artists in Zimbabwe, helping them to build their own homes and set real foundations for their families.

Due to the metal being recycled, there may be some sharp edges, which can cause harm if not treated with care.
In time, if it needs a fresh coat of varnish, we recommend a coating of varnish in autumn, so the coat is at its thickest throughout the winter.
