Flower Power Plant Food, launched ten years ago, has yielded much more than wonderful flowers, fruit and vegetables. The professionally formulated plant food has become the secret of success for many home gardeners as well as professional growers, helping them win Gold Medals at many prestigious and major flower shows, including RHS Chelsea.
Richard Jackson, who founded the garden industry’s Greenfingers Charity, wants to support gardens that open for charity. “To celebrate these gold awards and our 10th anniversary we’ve produced a special limited edition Anniversary gold tub,” says Richard, “and in recognition of the hard work and extraordinary fund raising efforts of the owners of gardens that are open to charity, we are awarding the ten winners, ten gold tubs each, of Flower Power, worth over £250 for each garden.”
One award-winning garden in Sussex has been using Flower Power with fabulous results. Geoff Stonebanks opens his Driftwood Garden every year to raise money for charity. “Last year, Richard offered me a years supply of Flower Power,” explains Geoff . “ I can only say, the impact on my garden in 2016 was utterly incredible. Not only did we appear on Gardeners’ World on TV and became a finalist in Gardeners’ World magazine’s Garden of the Year, but the garden looked blooming amazing to boot. He saved me money but more importantly, Flower Power is far superior to what I had been using and I won’t use anything else now!”
How to enter
Owners of gardens that are open for five or more days to the public, each year for charity (excluding open by appointment days) are invited to enter.
Simply email ask [email protected] and tell him about your garden, the charity that you support and why you think Flower Power will help you raise money for your charity.
Winners will be selected by Richard Jackson and his team of experts.
Terms and conditions
- Closing date February 28 2017.
- Gardens must be open for five or more days each year.
- Only gardens in the UK are eligible to enter.
- There are 10 prizes of 10 tubs (2.4kg) of Flower Power. The tubs will all be delivered at the same time.
- No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable.
